Everything needed is included for these 3 hookup methods

Optical Out

RCA Out

The audio optical out cable can be used to connect the ChairSpeaker transmitter to the TV's optical audio out.  When using this type of connection you must change your TV's output type to PCM audio format. This option is normally in the settings menu under audio options.

RCA output is a very common and easy to use output, however you must make sure the output is labeled as an output. This connection method will not work on inputs RCAs.

Headphone Out

When using the headphone jack to connect the transmitter the sound will be turned off on the TV. If you would like to listen to the TVs sound and sound through the ChairSpeaker you will need to use another method.

Other hookup methods requiring additional parts

With SoundBar

With Surround Sound

You can use an optical splitter to share the sound with your sound bar. When using this type of connection you must change your TV's output type to PCM audio format. This option is normally in the settings menu under audio options. To order this kit for connection click here.

You can hook up to the center channel of any surround sound system. We suggest the center channel because this is the channel that typically carries the voices. Using this hook up method the volume will be adjusted when you adjust the volume on the surround sound. To hook up to the the center channel you will need the center channel connection kit. To order this kit click here.

With Coaxial Digital Out

With HDMI Extractor

Some TV's only have a Coaxial output. In this case you will need a coaxial converter.  Using this kit may cause an echo depending on your TV. To order or learn more click here.

HDMI is a common cable for transporting video and audio in the same cable. In cases were you need to remove the sound you can use an audio extractor kit. To order or learn more click here.
