Every year many of us gather around friends and family to give thanks during this holiday season. This tradition is one of the oldest of our country and while we remain thankful, we are also mindful of the challenges we are currently facing everyday.
Due to these challenges, Thanksgiving might feel a little different than it has in years past. Instead of larger gatherings of family and friends coming over to share the holiday feast, we are now down too much smaller groups. Or in some cases, no groups at all.
While this year's Thanksgiving might be different than normal, one thing that we can take away from it is the appreciation of what we had, so this way we can cherish it more once things get back to normal. Most of us are always looking for something more, but don't realize what they have until it's gone. Now that the realization has kicked in, we now need to start to cherish one another more than ever, because tomorrow is never guaranteed.
So on behalf of everyone at KARE, we would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very happy and a very safe Thanksgiving.
Hopefully next year, we will all be back together again!
