For good or for bad, watching TV has become one of America's favorite past times since the 1950's. Over the last year because of the pandemic, more people relied on their TV for information and entertainment than ever before.
While watching what is on the screen is important, if you can not hear properly as to what is going on, then you can lose most of the message that is being relayed to you.
One of the most popular unofficial holidays of the year is less than two weeks away!
On February 7th, Tampa Bay will host Super Bowl LV.
Now as the country begins the roll out of the COVID vaccine, most people will not get it in time for the big game, so social distancing and small gathering policies will still be in affect in most areas of the country.
Welcome to 2021!!
Congratulations, you have made it through the arguably one of the worst years ever!!
While we are not out of the woods yet, there are some positive signs that the new year will be better than 2020. I mean, it couldn't get any worse, right?
As we put 2020 behind us, KARE will always be looking forward to the future when it comes providing the best quality audio products and service to our customers.
We have new products on the agenda for 2021, but while we can not reveal them to you just yet, we think you will be pleasantly surprised with we have to offer.
The best is yet to come, in more ways than one!!
We are finally in the home stretch for 2020!! I don't think I can remember a time when so many of us were glad to see one year end and a new one begin.
New Year's Eve is normally a holiday that symbolizes a rebirth or a clean slate to begin again and focus on creating a better life for ones self. While it celebrated world wide, various countries and cultures have different traditions to ring in the new year.
As the end of this year draws to a close, we at KARE wanted to take this opportunity to say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone who made this a special year for us.
As we look forward to better days ahead in 2021, we feel blessed to have an opportunity to be of service to you and your family in 2020 and cannot wait for what is ahead next year!
Last week we discussed how sound is measured in decibels and how the level of the decibels equate to the level of the sound. Today we will discuss how the distance from a sound's origination changes the sounds loudness and intensity.
Units of measurement are used all the time in everyday life. Pounds and ounces are a unit of measure weight, while inches and feet are used to measure distance. These units of measurement are practical to us because we can see and feel the difference. We can feel if one object weighs more than the other. We can see if one object is further away from another. However, when it comes to measuring sound, the concept becomes a little less practical and a little more complex.
Typically, if you ask someone how do you measure sound, they will say that sound is measured in decibels. That fine, but what exactly is a decibel?
During these past few months, many of us had to isolate ourselves due to the pandemic. We couldn't go out to go to a restaurant or a see a movie. We couldn't go out to see our friends and family. This way of life is very different than normal for most of us, but for some it is what they deal with on a daily basis.
Every year many of us gather around friends and family to give thanks during this holiday season. This tradition is one of the oldest of our country and while we remain thankful, we are also mindful of the challenges we are currently facing everyday.
